“Sad To See You Drown” was recorded in spring/summer 2002 at Sparker Studios in central Brighton.
Decanted from the heart; the songs are melodious, desperate and shiny. The thinking mind, brawling in an ambush of world-weariness. The subsiding of time threads a familiar refrain through the songs.
Recorded in the airless fog of hot summer nights, the songs attained a sense of passion. While the heat of the day was remembered in the stone of every street-the tape machines memorized the music............
